* Just a reminder of a great website with all kinds of cute games, songs, and activities connected with the shows on Channel 2: www.pbskids.org. This is one of the few indoor activities that is entertaining for all four of my children!
~Thanks to Kathleen J.

* Another great family-friendly website for kids to explore is www.starfall.com where children have fun learning to read! The website, put together by a team of artists, teachers, and computer animators, is simple to navigate and really engages the child's attention. The focus is on simple, fun interactivity and the sounding out of almost every word. All your child has to do is click on the screen, watch and listen! Start with the ABC's then move on to the Learn to Read Book #1 and then read the books and play the games in sequential order. This site was first recommended by one of our first grade teachers, and the kids can't get enough!
